Integrated Device Technology Inc has also signed with Personal Computer Products Inc, San Diego for joint development of a new series of printer controller boards that combine Adobe Systems Inc PostScript Level 2 software with the R-series RISController family and ASIC chips. The portfolio currently includes the 32-bit R3041, R3051/52 and R3081 RISControllers, as well as the optimised 64-bit R4600 Orion. The controller boards developed under the agreement will include a wide variety of input-output options, such as AppleTalk, bidirectional Centronics, PostScript FAX, SCSI, and PCMCIA. Engine video interface compatibility is to cover the latest offerings from Canon Inc and Fuji-Xerox Ltd.
