Dayton, Ohio-based AT&T Global Information Solutions has announced a combined speech, data and facsimile modem for its Globalyst notebook computers: costing $200, the kit – which uses Delrina Corp’s WinFax Lite 4.0 with Voice Messaging software – is PC Card-based, operates at 14.4Kbps, and is designed to enable mobile users to consolidate voice mail, faxes and memos into one mailbox. The versatile modem is shipping now.
