British Telecommunications Plc seems to like ex-IBMers with personal computer connections as head of its Cellnet Mobile Communications Ltd joint venture with Securicor Group Plc and after Stafford Taylor, it has tapped Howard Ford, currently responsible for IBM’s personal computer business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa as managing director of the company.
