The 4-Sight LC joint venture between CE Software Holdings Inc and 4-Sight (International) Ltd, has launched what it claims is the industry’s fastest ISDN file transfer board for Macintosh computers. Called 4-Sight Quatro, it installs in a Macintosh’s NuBus slot, and is said to enable users to transmit data across up to eight ISDN channels, achieving a maximum data rate of 3.54Mb per minute. The product is due to ship this month for $3,500, or $5,800 bundled with the company’s iSDN Graphics Superhighway Broadcast graphical user interface-based software.
