The acquisition will combine National Care Network’s (NCN) cost control services with Data Advantage’s strategic products and information in an effort to offer providers and payors new ways to analyze and interpret healthcare data.

Data Advantage utilizes benchmarking and analysis to help clients monitor clinical and financial performance, assess their market position, create competitive strategies and identify quality improvement opportunities.

With NCN’s acquisition of Data Advantage we have decided to take a stand against arbitrary reductions off of billed charges that do not account for true costs nor address resource utilization, said Tom Galas, CEO of NCN. Through this acquisition NCN will continue to ensure that the payor community is paying fair and reasonable charges and the provider community is receiving a fair reimbursement.

NCN and Data Advantage will continue to operate separately with both organizations maintaining their own data and technical infrastructure. All Data Advantage personnel will continue normal daily operations.
