For the year ended December 31, 2004, KMD recorded net profit of DKK 128.5m ($20.8m), up from DKK 100m ($16.2m) the previous year, on revenue that grew 5.8% to DKK 2.4bn ($385.1m). The Ballerup-based company, which was formerly known as Kommunedata, increased its headcount to 2,395, up from 2,343 at the end of 2003.
Earlier this month, KMD acquired Organisator A/S, the Danish software subsidiary of IBM, for an undisclosed sum. Organisator employs approximately 165 people and reported revenue of DKK 165m ($26.7m) in its last fiscal year.
