ECI’s Hi-FOCuS MSAN can help carriers to deliver IPTV with multicast capabilities, by providing voice, data and video services, on any architecture and over any technology, including copper and fiber.
The Hi-FOCuS’ capabilities include multi-mode multicast support that provides carriers with an option to choose video architecture type in which the multicast is operated. The MSAN can offer multicast implementation that enables zapping and recovery in case of failure. It can also provide management information to help service providers optimize their IPTV and video networks.
