San Francisco, California-based TeleSciences Inc is to take full control of its Motorola Microwave Inc joint venture with Motorola Inc in Bloomingdale, Illinois and will merge the company into its TeleSciences Transmission Systems Inc unit and Motorola will get a substantial minority stake in the enlarged company; staff reductions at the company, which provides transmission products to telephone company, cellular and private network operators, primarily in the 2GHz to 23 GHz digital and analogue microwave bands, will be phased through 1991.
