Acer has reported consolidated revenues of TWD168.06bn for the fourth quarter of 2009, representing an increase of 25%, compared to TWD134.94bn for the same period last year.

The company posted an operating income of TWD4.96bn, marking a 25% growth, compared to an operating income of TWD3.98bn for the fourth quarter of 2008.

For the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2009 preliminary results, the company posted net income of TWD3.51bn, an increase compared to the net income of TWD2.81bn for the same period last year.

For the full year 2009 preliminary results, the company’s consolidated revenues was TWD573.85bn, representing 5% annual growth compared to TWD546.27bn last year. Operating income reached TWD15.33bn from TWD14.07bn with 9% annual growth.

The company posted a net income of TWD11.35bn in 2009, a decrease compared to TWD11.74bn in 2008. Excluding investment disposal gains, the 2009 net income represents 29% growth over 2008. Preliminary EPS for 2009 was TWD4.3 compraed to EPS of TWD4.7 in 2008.
